Hi Steve. How do you get the Mark Knopfler tone please?
Hi Kevin, the amp is clean, I think I had the strat in the out-of-phase bridge pickup position, plus using fingers etc…Then it’s a case of getting really familiar with the solo until it flows naturally.
A great tip is to record yourself and compare it to the original – that really zeros in on the tone and timing inconsistencies.
